New Resident ChecklistThank you for considering Southgate to be your home. We hope that you will join us! We realize that it can sometimes be challenging to re-locate to a new community. We hope that the information provided here can assist you in your move.

For more information for the Mount Foerst, Conn, Durham, Holstein, and Ayton areas, please phone the local Canada Post Office.
Waste Resources & Diversion Management
Each home was assigned 3 carts (1 Blue Recycling, 1 Gray Waste, and 1 Green Organic). Please ensure these are at your home you have purchased. Southgate is divided into 4 zones for the collection of waste, recycling, and compost. A collection schedule calendar is sent out yearly to all residents within Southgate. A copy of the current schedule can be found here as well as information on what is allowed in each cart. Please review the information found in the calendar for details regarding your carts. Grey and Blue Carts alternate weekly pick up, however the Green Cart can be placed for pick-up every week. For more information, please contact Tracey Dupuis in the Public Works Department at 519-923-2110 Ext. 233 or email@example.com.
