Notice of Removal of Holding Symbol

Take notice that Township Council intends to pass an amending bylaw to remove the Holding Symbol from zoning provisions on the lands legally known as Concession 2 SWTSR Pt Lots 237, 238 RP 16R10956 Parts 1 and 2 RP 16R11751 Part 1, former Township of Proton.

The effect of removing the Holding Symbol is to allow for an industrial development meeting the provisions of Zoning By-law 2024-016 that placed the subject lands in a General Industrial Type 1 Exception 553 (M1-553) Zone. The Township and Owner have signed a Site Plan/Development Agreement and Final Capacity Allocation Agreement to meet conditions for removing the Holding Symbol.

The earliest date Council proposes to meet to pass the amending bylaw to remove the (H) Holding Symbol is April 16, 2025.
