Township of Southgate Invites Residents to 2025 Mayor's Levee

Dundalk, ONT. – The Township of Southgate is pleased to announce that Mayor Brian Milne will be hosting a New Year’s Levee. The New Year’s Levee will be hosted on January 4, 2024, from 4:00pm to 5:30pm, at the Dundalk Arena (550 Main St E, Dundalk, ON, N0C 1B0). The New Year’s Levee will feature a skating party and a chance to meet Mayor Milne. Snacks and refreshments will be made available. 

The New Year’s Levee will be the kick-of event for the Township’s 25^th Anniversary celebrations. Throughout 2025, the Township will be holding events and facilitating activities to celebrate 25 years as a united Township.

“One of the greatest privileges as Mayor is getting to interact with Southgate residents from all walks of life. I look forward to hosting the 2025 Mayor’s Levee, and getting to meet with so many residents in a relaxed and fun setting,” said Mayor Milne. “I encourage Southgate residents to join me on January 4^th, and celebrate our amazing community.”

The Township of Southgate was established on January 1, 2000, when the Town of Dundalk and townships of Egremont and Proton were amalgamated. 

The 2025 Mayor’s Levee will feature a skating party, refreshments, and an opportunity to meet Mayor Milne.
