On Sunday September 8th, 2024, the Township of Southgate will observe National Firefighters Memorial Day. This is a day to honour the memory of, and pay tribute to, fire services personnel who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty while serving our communities.

In observance of this location, flags at all municipal facilities will fly at half-staff.
